The Greeters Ministry stand poised, willing, ready and able to meet, greet and welcome all parishioners with a warm smile and a gracious spirit. Shiloh Baptist Church greeters are the frontline “doorkeepers” in Shiloh’s house of worship and are, in essence, Shiloh’s ambassadors of hospitality! The greeters have a unique opportunity of setting the tone for that important first impression.
Shiloh’s greeters work closely with the Ushers Ministry in an effort to ensure the orderly flow and movement of worshippers entering the sanctuary. Greeters make a special effort to identify and welcome visitors and newcomers by extending special greetings to them.
The Greeters Ministry meets regularly on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. Meeting locations vary and are announced prior to each meeting date. In addition, extracurricular activities are regularly planned in an effort to foster fellowship and friendships among ministry participants.
If you have an ongoing spirit of hospitality, a gracious persona and a desire to greet those entering into Shiloh’s house of worship, this ministry may be the place for you!
