The Communication Ministry began in 2006 to strategize, structure and communicate Shiloh’s messages to its internal and external target audiences through various means. The ministry has a responsibility to help Pastor Lee communicate Shiloh’s mission, assist other ministries with their communication needs, develop and enhance relationships with media outlets and involve the youth of the church to help them develop skills in the field of communication.
Communication for Shiloh is comprised of several different components: public relations, media relations, marketing, branding, events planning and design and layout. There are a wide-range of duties carried out through these components including: develop integrated marketing campaigns; write copy for news releases, feature stories, position papers, public service announcements, fact sheets, advertising, etc; design programs, fliers, brochures, data sheets, posters, Web site, T-shirts, etc; coordinate news conferences; plan events; photograph church events publish quarterly newsletter and purchase advertising.
The Communication Ministry members work as a group, and come together on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. when they need to collaborate on projects.
